Common Questions
What’s the difference between insights, concepts and stories?
Everything here had to teach me something. The categories are about how I organized these ideas in my head (even if it’s not an exact science):
Insight: Standalone observation; the test is “That’s interesting”.
Concept: Named, transferable idea; the test is “That’s a tool I can use”.
Story: A specific case you draw the lesson from; the test is “That shows it”.
Why do some entries have titles and others don’t?
Titles are there so an idea is easier to find later, so many entries carry one. Titles are only added where they make sense.
A concept’s title names the tool and a story’s title names the episode.
